After graduating, Kristin spent a year teaching high school Spanish and then went on to attend law school. While in law school, she served as President of the Student Bar Association, President of the Black Law Students Association, Symposium Editor of the criminal law journal, a member of the Labor & Employment Moot Court Team, was also Best Oralist (Petitioner) in her Appellate Advocacy class and the 1st 2X leadership award recipient. Immediately after law school, Kristin joined a mid-size law firm where her practice areas included Media, Communications and Information, HR and Employee Benefits, Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Education and School Law. After relocating to Texas, she joined a local political campaign where she became a senior advisor. Named in law school as most likely to become a politician, this was a very natural transition for Kristin as she also studied for a new state’s bar examination. After her candidate lost in the run-off and the road to City Hall came to an end, Kristin transitioned from the campaign trail to the world of brand strategies and management.

Kristin’s senior leadership experience includes a myriad of high-level operations, strategic planning, partnership negotiations and management, internal team member evolution and event production with experiential marketing integration. While she enjoys seeing big ideas and impactful solutions come to life from concept-to-execution, developing team members and contributing to their professional and personal growth, has always been where Kristin’s passion emits.

With a firm foundation in service and a commitment to improving and impacting the lives of today’s youth, Kristin is a member of Advocates for Youth Education, Inc., an organization that provides scholarships to African American youth transitioning from high school to college; and a Leading Ladies volunteer at Yellowstone Academy, a charter school serving children from traditionally underserved communities. Kristin is most motivated by her faith, which along with her family, is the foundation and strength from which she leads.

In her “free time”, Kristin enjoys writing, speaking and spending time with loved ones. She has been speaking publicly since she was twelve years old and has spent recent months co-authoring a children’s book. Kristin is also serving as an Executive Producer of an upcoming project highlighting her Uncle DeHart Hubbard, an historic Olympic gold medalist. Married nearly 15 years and counting, she and her husband are proud parents of their son and twin girls.
